Data manipulation systems - the so-called Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) systems are presented in the article.. The main shortcomings and errors that arise in the design of such systems are revealed. The steps presented to improve the ETL process. Recommendations on data management, capable of providing stable ETL systems, are given.
