Post-Soviet political elite: the search for ways to interact with the society (case study of the Chelyabinsk region)

The paper deals with the evolvement of the regional political elite, reveals the basic forms and methods of its cooperation with the society during the complicated transitional period of the Russian state's development. The new actors of the politics show up and develop. The author analyzes processes, which have taken place in the state authorities of the Chelyabinsk region.
