Political reshaping in the post-soviet time reflected by the contemporary political thought

The paper examined emergence and further evolving of the academic concepts aimed at explaining the logic and cause-and-effect relations within the post-Soviet political reshaping. The study outlined three stages of evolution of a political thought, and disclosed the essential features specific for each stage. Particular attention has been given to procedures of cognitive interference between the academic schools of politics from Russian and foreign political science, and to the disputed aspects of conceptual perceiving of the course of democratic changes across the countries of post-Soviet domain. The study inferred that the structured approach within the framework of Russian school of political studies that prevailed on the first stage was recently replaced by the large conceptual and procedural variety and attempts to adopt some foreign concepts.
