The potential of business tourism in Russia

The article deals with the main aspects of tourism development. The trends of the industry development in Russia are outlined and its role in the economy is defined. It is shown that the development of business tourism can neutralize the problem of seasonality of tourist flows in the regions. The directions of improvement of the MICE-industry are offered.
