Potential and directions of development of mutual trade of the BRICS countries

The article discusses the main objectives of the creation of BRICS as a trade and economic organization, identifies the uniqueness of this association and its economic competitiveness. The paper also highlights priority areas for the development of mutual trade between the BRICS member countries. To identify the potential of this cooperation in the field of mutual trade, the dynamics of trade turnover between the states was analyzed, as well as the commodity structure of exports and imports for each country within the union was studied.
