Potential of using idiomatic expressions and phrasal verbs related to the topic "College life" at the English lesson

Understanding speech and nonverbal behaviour of native speakers contributes to successful cross-cultural communication. One of the means aimed at this target is studying phrasal verbs which reflect tendencies of current colloquial language. The author draws attention to the importance of enriching the topic «College life» with idiomatic expressions and phrasal verbs. The exercises offered in the article are expected to promote forming the picture of the world of other nations.
