Potential of primary group in prevention of bullying among adolescents

The author defines bullying among adolescents as a type of destructive conflict interaction, during which for a long period of time in the presence of onlookers a bully behaves aggressively towards a victim who cannot defend him/herself. The key characteristics of bullying among teenage high school students are presented in the article. Taking as a base the theses of A. Makarenko and A. Petrovsky about the influence of a collective on personal traits and relations of its members, it is stated that the primary group of teenagers has resources for the prevention of bullying.
