The article analyzes mechanisms and possibilities of the crowdsourcing as an effective tool allowing employing resources of the public opinion. The author considers conditions and scope of its efficiency, studies successful cases of the ‘Genius Crowds’ use for problem solution in various areas, and discusses motivation of the crowdsourcing projects’ participants.
