The victim as an element of forensic characterization of a crime

The article discusses the value of the victim as an element of forensic characteristic of a crime. The author considers personal features and traits of a victim, as well as a variety of objects and phenomena related to the crime. Studying each of them separately and cumulatively in the appropriate methodological framework should, in the author''s opinion, lead to the comprehension of forensically important signs, features, connections and relationships with other objects and phenomena.
