Consumer expenses of the Tyumen region population: analysis of current trends

The paper analyses the current state of income and expenditure balance of the Tyumen region population. The author describes the current trends in the dynamics and the structure of consumer expenses of the region residents. Scientific novelty of the research consists in development of an algorithm identifying regional peculiarities of consumer demand change in the regional market of the Tyumen region in the context of the economic crisis, with the aim to develop and implement effective measures of social support of the indigent. The author believes that it is urgent to strengthen the role of social policy at all government levels in the context of declining living standards of Russians and falling of real incomes of the working population under the influence of modern inflationary processes in the national economy.
