Everyday life of the Soviet Siberian city in 1917-1923

In the article, the authors consider the issue of the relevance of studying the daily life of the Soviet Siberian city in 1917-1923, in the study of which the cities of Transbaikalia are the basis. The authors show the historical specificity of the region, which is a combination of socio-political challenges of the beginning of the 20th century. In addition, the article provides an overview of historiography on the research topic, during which the conclusion about the paucity of scientific publications on the everyday life of the cities of Transbaikalia between 1917 and 1923 becomes natural. In conclusion, the researchers argue that the study of this subject will expand the idea of a specific historical period.
