The everyday life of the soviet childhood as a factor of personality formation (on the basis of an example of Ust-Ilimsk)

The author analyses the Ust-Ilimsk citizens’ memories about their childhood that took place in the period of late socialism. A special attention is paid to the everyday life which was formed by the family, street, state, and by the atmosphere of a young developing city. The research reveals the mechanisms of the child’s personality formation and the process of acquiring universal values. The author arrives to the conclusion that it is impossible to consider childhood as a source of forming of the negative qualities of the Soviet person.
