Increase in efficiency of pig breeding production as factor for food supply security of the region provision

Problems of efficiency increase in pig breeding production are considered in the article. Its defining role in the provision of food supply security of the Republic of Mordovia is shown. The analysis of the present-day state of pig breeding of the republic is carried out. It allowed determining main reserves for its efficiency increase and perspective parameters of pork production.
