Increasing the efficiency of the activity of enterprise based on the using a process approach

The article is devoted to the research of the process approach and its application to improve the efficiency of the activity of enterprise in modern conditions. Modern conditions of the market economy form a demand for achieving efficiency of the activity, which manifests itself in maximizing the return on the use of available resources at the disposal of the enterprise while minimizing costs. Such a result can be achieved due to the interest in achieving this goal of all subjects of the economic process of the enterprise. The purpose of the article is to research the functional and process approaches to management and substantiation of the advantages of the process approach in modern conditions. A comparative analysis of functional and process approaches to enterprise management is carried out. When the process management is compared with the functional approach it has a number of advantages in modern condition. It is established that the process approach based on the using of business processes as a stable (multiple repeated) activity for the transformation of resources into results contributes to ensuring competitive products at the output of the business process, as a result of the value chain, and stable development of the enterprise. The advantages of using the process approach are determined. During the research, it was found that the process approach gives you the opportunity to identify the key business process and reflect the production process of a product or a service in the form of a clear sequence of individual operations. This approach allows you to focus the efforts of the management team on the main processes that form the results of activities, but also to ensure the possibility of achieving the efficiency of the activity.
