This article explores the issue of asphaltene-resin-paraffin (ARP) deposits in oil and gas pipelines, which poses a significant challenge to the industry. ARP deposits lead to reduced equipment efficiency, increased energy consumption, and higher risk of accidents. The article proposes an approach to improving methods of addressing this problem through the use of solvents. It discusses the primary mechanisms of solvents' impact on ARP deposits, their selection, and the optimization of the application process. Research demonstrates that the use of properly selected solvents substantially enhances pipeline cleaning efficiency and prevents deposit formation, thereby contributing to the reliability and economic efficiency of oil and gas enterprises.
