Efficiency improvement of innovative activity support and regulation in the Republic of Crimea

The article presents guidelines on how to increase the effectiveness of support and regulation of innovative activity in the Republic of Crimea. The types of structural changes of the regional economy are described. Particular attention is paid to the need to harmonize all aspects of the regional policy in innovation activity support and creation of a new system for its reinforcement. It is noted that for the effective regulation of this activity it is reasonable to create special regulatory regimes, to formalize a mechanism of economic regulation, to improve monitoring and evaluation techniques dealing with the efficiency of functioning of the regional innovation system.
