Improving the effectiveness of the criminal justice response to mass riots

Introduction: the author discusses improving the effectiveness of the criminal justice response to mass riots. Materials and Methods: the material was current criminal law of Russia, the author used general methods of research: analysis, synthesis, comparison etc. Results: the author analyzed main ways of the possible upgrading of the improving the effectiveness of the criminal justice response to mass riots including the legal establishment of the interpretations of the concept "mass riots". Discussion and Conclusions: the article presents recommendations for the effective usage of criminal law standards to combat mass riots.
