Improving the agricultural services management efficiency through digital technologies

Introduction. The article deals with the topical issue of improving the efficiency of agricultural services management through the introduction of digital technologies, which will create favourable development prospects for Russian agriculture in the global economy and improve the state support mechanisms in this sector. Aims. To assess the current state of agricultural production and services as an important factor of socio-economic development of the country and its regions; to identify promising areas of development; to produce an effective management model for agricultural services through the introduction of digital technologies. Methods. Formal-logical, dialectical method of economic and social processes cognition, the system analysis method. Results. The problem issues and obstacles for the rapid development and implementation of digital technologies in agriculture of the country have been identified, the main ones being the low technical capacity of enterprises in the regions, the underdeveloped business environment, the inefficiency of business processes. The problems in management include conservatism, lack of experience in working with automation equipment and distrust in those as a tool for improving the work efficiency. This leads to difficulties for developers in creating and promoting platforms and applications in agribusiness. Conclusion. As a result, proposals to improve the efficiency of agricultural services management have been formulated; a model have been presented taking into account the introduction of digital technologies, supported by justification of the planned effect.
