The effect of pulsed laser treatment on the structure and operational characteristics wolframkarbid hard alloys. The optimal regimes of laser action in which achieved the greatest increase in resistance of the hardened tool. The relationship between the depth of the hardened layer with the changed structure, durability and structural-phase changes in the area of laser processing. Laser heat treatment improves the operating characteristics of hard alloy T15K6 in 1,5 - 2 times.
