Increasing labor productivity through the use of new technological processes at manufacturing enterprises

The article discusses the increase in labor productivity through the use of new technological processes in manufacturing enterprises. Low productivity is one of the root causes of the "working poor" phenomenon. These people work long hours, often in the informal economy or on their backyards, but are unable to earn a living for their family38. Therefore, without increasing productivity-and ensuring that the benefits of this increase are fairly shared among company owners and investors (in the form of higher profits and share prices) and workers (in the form of higher wages and improved working conditions)-poverty cannot be reduced. The virtuous cycle of productivity, employment and development can be maintained by reinvesting the gains from the rise of the former in product and technical innovation, modernizing means of production and training programs for workers, and improving the working environment in which they work.
