Increase of the life of a tension roller of the mechanism of the drive of the generator and compressor of the air conditioner of car engines

In this article, the analysis of failure of the bearing of a tension roller of the drive of the generator and the compressor of the air conditioner of the car is carried out. On the basis of results of tests carried out, conclusions are drawn on the reasons of decrease in fatigue life of the bearing; an investigation of the performance of the bearing of the tension roller was conducted by means of a mathematical model. Recommendations about increase of the life of the tension roller are provided.
