Increasing the role of the securities market in financing the economy

The article examines the securities market, the activation of which in modern conditions is of particular importance for providing investment resources to enterprises in the real sector. The purpose of the study is to develop theoretical provisions and develop practical recommendations for improving the securities market as a source of financing for the economy. The article examines the essence of the initial public offering used to attract investments in the company’s share capital. The analysis of initial public offerings on the Russian securities market is carried out. The problems preventing the active participation of issuers and investors in the initial public offering market have been identified. Measures are proposed to enhance the conduct of initial public offerings by issuers and to stimulate institutional and private investors in investment processes in the country.
