The paper discusses the possibility of increasing the energy efficiency of converting electrical energy into heat under the composite heating non-ferrous metals in multilayer solenoidal inductor. This article was prepared by the project Creation of the new technology of heating non-ferrous metals with high technical and economic performance, realized by the LLC «Resonance» (Krasnoyarsk) and FSEFHPE «Siberian Federal University», with support KSAM «Krasnoyarsk regional fund to support research and scientific and technical activity» with the active participation of the company «Krasnoyarsk Metallurgical Plant».
