Many lawn grasses and flowering plants used in city landscaping, are sensitive to pollution of soil copper ions. The objects of study were Festuca rubra and Brachycome iberidifolia. The technologies for the production of plants Festuca rubra and Brachycome iberidifolia resistant copper. For Festuca rubra plants resistant to copper was used selection scheme comprising culturing callus on MS modified medium with 150 mg / l of copper, regeneration on MS medium with 150 mg / l of copper and rooting plants on MS medium with 150 mg / l copper. For Brachycome iberidifolia were used selection scheme comprising culturing callus on MS medium with a copper concentration of 20 mg / l for 26 days, 2 passages, and then rooting regeneration without addition of copper. Most derived regenerants showed increased resistance to copper.
