Helmet from the Tobolsk State Historical-Architectural Museum-Reserve

The unique helmet stored in funds of the Tobolsk State Historical-Architectural Museum-Reserve is considered in this article. Distinguishing feature of this helmet is a solid-forged hemispherical bowl and a brass plate on the top of the helmet covered with a floral design. On the grounds of the typological analysis the helmet is determined as a product made by Tatar or Central Asiatic armourers of XVII century.
