The article deals with attitude of the Nazi leader A. Hitler towards the Great Britain in comparison with the views of the continental school of geopolitics. Basing upon the study of views in the foreign historiography on this subject it is concluded that Hitler’s attitude to the Great Britain, expressed in his main works, evidenced certain deviation from the geopolitical point of view, but had determined the principal aim of the Third Reich’s foreign policy on the eve of the Second World War, which was demarcation of the geopolitical interests with the British Empire.
