Reports delivered on May 25, 2018 at the joint meeting of the Komi Branch of the Society of plant physiologists of Russia and the Komi Branch of the Russian Botanical society, dedicated to the 100th birth anniversary of Petr Petrovich Vavilov, are presented. P.P.Vavilov is a prominent scientistbiologist, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor, corresponding member of the USSR Academy of Sciences, academician and President of the All-Union Academy of Agricultural Sciences named after Lenin.
