The article reveals the features and principles of theatrical organizations in working with youth in the countries of the European Union. The features of the education of young people by means of theatrical pedagogy are described, the main characteristics of the modern state of the theater are highlighted, the problems that theatrical pedagogy solves are indicated. In addition, the technology of theater therapy in the social rehabilitation of young people with mental disabilities in the countries of the European Union is described, the activities of some organizations that solve the social problems of young people with disabilities are analyzed.
