Practical aspects of assessing the competitiveness of coal companies

The article examines the applied aspects of assessing the competitiveness of coal industry enterprises, which plays a key role in ensuring energy security and economic growth of the country. The analysis was carried out using quantitative and qualitative methods to identify the strengths and weaknesses of enterprises in a dynamically changing market. Special attention is paid to factors affecting competitiveness, such as innovative technologies, resource management, environmental standards, and market strategies. Based on the “5 forces of competition” method, the main criteria that have a significant impact on changing the competitiveness of the company have been identified. Based on the results of the study, recommendations are proposed aimed at improving the competitive position of coal companies, including the introduction of modern technologies, optimization of production processes and the development of human capital.
