Practical use of lichens of Buryatia

The article is devoted to practical usage of lichens of the Republic of Buryatia. Lichens are widely spread in woods, mountain tundras of coast of the lake Baikal, mountain landscapes, northern areas of republic. Lichens are the basic fodder base of northern noble deers. They can be used in the tibetan medicine, and also in food-processing industry. A variety of lichens in the Republic lichens of Buryatia makes 719 species includiny 63 families, 184 generas, 16 orders of 2 classes.
