Digitalization practice on the example of the engineering industry

The state of the machine-building industry and its trends in terms of digitalization in the global and Russian markets are considered. A review of the successful application of digital technologies by German, American and Italian companies was conducted, as well as the domestic experience was studied. Despite the lagging of Russian companies from world leaders, the need for digitalization is obvious, however, in the current conditions, this process in the machine-building industry will proceed abruptly, but it will ensure the efficiency and competitiveness of enterprises.
