E-declaration practices: challenges and perspectives

The article discusses the implementation of digitalization and automation of customs processes in the conditions of digitalization of the Russian economy. Special attention is paid to structural changes in customs authorities throughout the Russian Federation, the activities of electronic customs and electronic declaration. Of great importance is the structure, staff, legal status and interaction of the authority with the customs system. The role and importance of the Ural Electronic Customs is noted during the implementation of the Roadmap for the reform of the customs system. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of the dynamics of electronic declaration indicators in the Ural Electronic Customs. The results of electronic declaration during the study period showed positive dynamics in the activities of the Ural Electronic Customs, which indicates in general an increase in the efficiency of declaration in the conditions of digitalization and automation of customs activities.
