The social adaptation practices of migrant professors in Kuban universities in the 1920-s

The 1920-s is a complicated and non-uniform period of history, when representatives of the intelligentsia were looking for their place in the social space. In the early and the late years of the decade, professors felt the need to adapt to new conditions for the purpose of preservation of life and wellbeing. A number of the sources used characterize both specific situation developed in Krasnodar and pluralism of behavioural decisions of higher school professorship.
