The truth and the fiction in Dagestan historical novel

The article deals with the fiction and truth relationship problem in the historical literary works. The key issue of the article is the social realism influence on the reality interpretation methods in Dagestan authors' historical novels, the historicity principle observation, the historical fact role in literary characters creation, different ways of the original and fictitious characters representation. The epoch conflict as the Dagestan historical novel integral part is also analyzed. The present work scientific value lies in the historicity principle new interpretation and complicated estimate of the truth and fiction relationship, measure and status in Dagestan historical novel genre.
