The right of citizens on accurate ecological information and its guarantees

This article examines the questions of the legal regulation of citizens' right to reliable ecological information, and guarantees of this right. Despite the fact that national legislation contains many legal norms that fix and specify the right of everyone to a favorable environment, reliable information on the state of the environment, but the right of citizens to reliable ecological information continues to be unrealized until the end and citizens do not fully realize this right, аnd this right is not secured in many respects by legal acts and also by the practice of judicial and administrative bodies. The authors formulated the concept of "ecological information" on the basis of the analysis of international and national legislation, examined the system of guarantees of the citizens’ right to reliable ecological information, formulated measures that should improve the mechanism for implementing citizens' right to reliable ecological information.
