Article is devoted an actual problem of realization of one of the basic social rights - the rights to a dignified or sufficient standard of living. In the modern world the right to an Worthy Life (adequate) standard of living is enshrined in many international acts of universal character and is reflected in the constitutions of many states For the first time in Russia the idea of human rights to a dignified existence was proposed in the early XX century. However, there are differences in the terminology of this right. One group of scientists uses the concept of right to a decent standard of living of the other - the right to an adequate standard of living. Reflected in the constitutions of the various terms mean absolutely contradictory understanding of the development of human rights in individual states.
