Daring to say something beautiful again: some tendencies in Faroese literature / translated from the Faroese by O. A. Markelova

The article by Kim Simonsen (the Faroese literary scholar, poet, literary critic and culturologist) examines such a world-wide phenomenon as the decline of postmodernism in literature at the turn of the 21 century at the example of Scandinavian literatures. The ideological and formal features of postmodernism have lost their urgency in Scandinavian poetry and literary criticism, and have given way to renovation of the modernist literary tradition.
