The orthodox mission of St. Stefan in Perm region and the catholic mission of Jean de Betancourtin the Canary islands: a comparative analysis

The article examines two medieval Christian missions, explores such aspects of both as the activities of missionaries, culture and religious views of the peoples to whom the evangelical sermon was addressed, etc. The common and different in the conduct of missions, in their methods and results are established by comparative analysis.
