The state of the Orthodox press in Poland until 1917 as part of the general problem of the media of the religious minority have been studied. The two organs of press have been considered, i.e. the official diocesan Bulletin (journal) and the public newspaper, published by the Orthodox brotherhood. Both editions has changed their titles during the period of their existence. One more periodical, The Orthodox Calendar, was published also as a separate edition as well as the supplement to the newspaper. It has been stated that the readership of the periodicals was limited by its confession and ethnical territory.
