Legal consciousness as a factor of securing national security

This article examines the problem of overcoming legal nihilism and the formation of the legal consciousness of citizens as one of the most important factors in ensuring national security. It is substantiated that the formation of a system of measures for effective social prevention and education of law-abiding citizens directly depends on the priorities, values and stereotypes that dominate the process of primary and secondary socialization, and compliance with these values of available law enforcement practice and the results of lawmaking.
