Legal identity as a subject of sociocultural analysis

The article deals with the legal identity as a subject of sociocultural analysis. The heuristic nature of the anthropological cultural approach to the interpretation of law is justified. The author studies correlation of legal identity and legal consciousness, considers the structure and the functions of the legal identity. The paper defines the essential features of a legal person and the factors affecting formation and development of the legal person as a direct participant and "creator" of their legal identity.
