Youth legal culture at the Russian society development contemporary stage

The paper examines various aspects of the concept of legal culture of modern youth, the content of civil society and their relationship. The study analyzes regulatory legal acts in the field of formation and development of the legal culture of Russian youth, in particular the Federal Law of December 30, 2020 No. 489-FZ "On youth policy in the Russian Federation", the list of instructions of the head of state on the implementation of the Address of the President of the Russian Federation to the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation , which mentions youth and youth policy. In addition, the paper examines youth associations and youth organizations in which a significant part of the population of Russia participates. The author points out the need to study the functions of the legal culture of modern youth, which ensure the formation of a systemic, responsible and patriotic attitude of young people in legal reality and public relations. A well-grounded conclusion is made that the youth part of society needs to possess the skills and tools of legal culture, to have an active legal life position, to take part in modern social processes. In addition, the legal culture of modern youth, its high level, high-quality filling with legal principles with cultural and historical conditioning ensures the systematic and progressive strengthening of the foundations of the rule of law and civil society. It is the style of thinking, the model of creative assessment and legal behavior of young citizens that ensure the systemacy and consistency of the implementation in the legal life of society of the fundamental principles and forms of legal communication and the harmonization of interaction between civil society institutions and the rule of law. The author of the article is convinced of the need for a comprehensive and crossectoral study of the legal culture of modern youth.
