The article considers issues of a criminal legal treatment of infliction of harm to health when holding sports meets. Authors note that now there is no special legal base defining a possibility of legal infliction of harm to human health when holding sports meets. As a result of research authors come to a conclusion that in the Russian legislation there is no need of establishment for special standards of criminal liability for the special types of infringement of the human health safety made as a result of established rules violation when holding sports competitions. Within the framework of the implementation of criminal law norms, it is necessary to determine the legal treatment of the damage to human health during sports competitions, with the possible establishment of qualifying signs in legislation defining the criminal liability for causing violent injuries.
