Legal nature and entity of institute of the customs duty as budget income

In article various approaches to definition of institute of the customs duty are considered. The tax nature of the customs duty and its difference from collecting and other non-tax payments is analysed. It is revealed that by the legal nature the customs duty represents a kind of indirect tax.
