The legal nature of a will (vasiyat) in customary law Dagestan

Purpose: To Study the legal nature of a will in Dagestan. Methodology: Historical and legal, formal-legal and comparative legal methods were used. Results: The Article is devoted to peculiarities of regulation of hereditary relations of the will in the customary law of the peoples of Dagestan. Studied the essential terms of the preparation of wills, the order of distribution of inheritance and the influence of religious traditions on the legal culture of the Dagestan. Novelty/originality/value: Article has a scientific value and originality covering the understudied issue of testamentary succession in customary law on the example of Dagestan.
