The legal definition of a “nuclear installation” under French legislation and in EU law

Introduction: France, being the leading country among the EU member states in the field of nuclear industry and technology, has detailed public legislation in the nuclear field. The purpose of the study is to adopt and develop the basic definition of “nuclear installation” in France and EU nuclear law. The research uses the methods of scientific cognition based on dialectical and historical materialism, logical, system-structural and comparative law analysis.
