The article discusses the features of the legal regulation of the State Noble Land Bank's activities in the territory of the Middle Volga in the late XIX century. The author examines the rules for estates valuation, the procedure of standard and special assessment of mortgaged land, valuation of an estate, as well as grounds for the estate remortgaging.
