Legal regulation of compensation for criminal damage in the states of the Anglo-Saxon legal system and the need to use their experience in domestic law-making

In the presented scientific work, the author has attempted a comprehensive study of the legal regulation for the harm caused by crime in certain States of the Anglo-Saxon legal family. The study has shown that in these countries, one of the most effective mechanisms has been developed that allows victims of criminal attacks to receive compensation payments from the state, regardless of any circumstances that are associated with the accused. In the course of the research, the author came to the conclusion that the legislative institutions of countries where the Anglo-Saxon legal system operates allowed their state authorities to clearly formulate and organize an effectively functioning state system to provide assistance to victims of criminal attacks. In conclusion, the author make a General conclusion that in order to effectively compensate for criminal harm to victims of crimes, it is necessary to develop a synchronously built model of compensation mechanism in the Russian Federation based on the research of positive foreign experience in providing assistance to victims of criminal attacks in the States of the Anglo-Saxon legal system.
