The legal status of pregnant women in the contract of passenger transportation by air transport: problems and solutions

In this article, author provides a comprehensive analysis of the features of the legal status of passengers among pregnant women in the contract of passenger air transport. The author's position on the issues stated in this article based on the existing regulatory legal acts and internal rules of some largest air carriers, supported by current judicial practice. In order to create a single integrated approach aimed at changing the current situation, the most rational, from the author's point of view, ways of solving the problems outlined in the article proposed. However, the author points to the need to create an effective mechanism to protect the rights of pregnant passengers in the current air transport legislation, taking into account the views of stakeholders.
