In the article «Legal Status of Language in The Constitution and Laws of Modern China» the basic principles of legal regulations in the field of language use in the People ’s Republic of China are considered. The author carries the analysis of laws that contain corresponding regulations and he tries to reveal the most common problems concerning their implementation.
